History of the Games
The Children of Asia International Sports Games are held every 4 years since 1996. The Games were organized to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the modern Olympic Movement at the initiative of Mr. Mikhail NIKOLAYEV, the first President of the Sakha Republic (Yakutia).
A whole array of sports venues is involved in the Games. All necessary conditions have been tailored for the competition: an Olympic Village, where athletes stay, a special information and transport networks, as well as a security system.
